We are situated within the beautiful Chiawa Game Management Area (GMA) on the banks of the Zambezi River, nestled at the foot of the Zambezi Escarpment. Shaded by acacia and combretum trees, the lodge affords the perfect place to admire the quiet majesty of the river and to explore the surrounding wildlife.

The Lower Zambezi National Park is approximately 10 km away from the lodge, whilst proximity to the river and the mountains provides a variation in topography and vegetation unrivalled by any other park in Zambia.

We will never forget about this trip. It was just wonderful.

We were there for the over all experience of being close to the national park. And I think we really got that, staying at the lodge. I honestly didn’t know the animals could come that close!

The chef’s food was just delicious! Whatever we brought, he was able to prepare a 5 star dinner out of it.

You will definitely see me there again in the future!

We had a perfect stay at your lodge.  Jerybel and Given and all the others made our stay amazingly comfortable and exciting. The lodge and the sunsets are very special, we had elephants in the night at the lodge and the quality of the service gave us an old British feeling.

Our stay at the lodge was absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have been more pleased.

The chalets are incredible, the view is something special and the service was impeccable. We even had elephants and hippos roaming around one of the nights.

Staff is beyond friendly and made us feel at home!

We had to get used to what “self-catered” means in Zambia – we bring our stuff and the team on the ground does everything else! ..Howard looked after us, Chef Jerrybell was to be recommended, our river boat guide was very knowledgeable, and all other staff were friendly and helpful.

It was wonderful experience. We liked your place, your staff was very welcoming and cooperative. The place was beautiful. Overall we enjoyed a lot.
